Clients always ask about the underlying factors, or drivers for Helena Real Estate Pricing. Some look at our market as overheated and too expensive. (And for nearly every home I market on Facebook, we get at least one snarky comment about the crazy high price) Yet we do sell them, and continue to sell them. So, is Helena real estate a bargain, or is the market overheated? Tomorrow’s hindsight will bear this out, but here’s an infographic (be patient, it loads slowly) that color-codes housing prices regionally. Check it out–We are a cool yellow oasis, surrounded by hot orange. In other words, all of our regional neighbors have seen larger increases than we have. Local pricing is somewhat driven by local wages, which are relatively low, but in the new “Gig Economy,” high paid skilled labor is geographically untethered. Plus, the mountain biking is awesome!
This verifies what I’ve been claiming for a while–that we are a bargain compared to other Rocky Mountain Markets. We’d love to help you buy a home in the Helena Area!
